PCG (PIM) AUM and Revenue Reporting / Planning and Analysis
Description: Prudential Investment Management ('PIM') is seeking an
Associate Manager for the Prudential Capital Group (PCG) finance team.
The team maintains a dual reporting role to the PIM Controller and to
PCG Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for
assisting with the quarterly forecasting/planning, monthly revenue and
Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting and analysis for the team.
PCG underwrites unsecured debt and participates in equity related deals.
This is a fast paced environment, which requires an individual to be
focused on detail and is willing to understand the business complexities
of PCG. The position is based in Newark.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not
limited to:
- Planning and Forecasting:
- Quarterly revenue forecasts and strategic planning/analysis
- AUM and revenue modeling, based on key business drivers
- Prepare reports and provide analysis on AUM and revenue related to requests from senior management
- Month-end Close:
- Review and analyze monthly AUM
- Reconcile and analyze revenue
- Prepare monthly earnings projection
- Ad-hoc requests, including surveys and management presentations
- Position will get involved with PCG expense management
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance (experience in
budget/forecasting analysis preferred)
- Strong computer skills (Advanced Excel knowledge preferred; Oracle
knowledge is a plus)
- Assets Under Management experience is preferred
- Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills
Comments:
- Overtime is required during peak periods
